Bishop
Carruth Hall was born in Malvern, Arkansas January 24, 1930 and later
moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he served faithfully as
Assistant Pastor to the late Bishop Clyde
C. Cox at the Upper Room Church of Christ. Bishop Hall’s early years
of development, commitment and devotion was built upon faith in God.
The amazing character of this great leader will astonish men as he
challenges them to recognize the need and opportunity to work together
in unity. He has always exhibited the ability to excite many with
profoundness and calls them to come to Christ.
He was called to the
Ministry at an early age and ordained in 1957. He is a graduate of the
“Voice of Prophecy” School of Theology”, C. T. S. under the late
Bishop C. C. Cox, he holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree. He is the
President and Founder of the Spiritual Renewal Ministries and St. Paul
Bible Collage. He serves as the President of C. H. Mason Bible
College.
Bishop Hall’s
strong moral character has been as a family man with a devotion of
twenty seven years of vocational occupation at the Clark County School
District in the Transportation Department. Bishop Carruth Hall and
wife Loyce Wright Hall has been married for fifty-three (53) years and
are the parents to five (5) prestigious children: Harriet Johnson,
Anna Jean Lee, Curita Blakely, Estralita Hall, and one son, Carruth L.
Hall Jr. who are recording artist. His fortitude and courage has
inspired his children to a special ability and God-given power to
overcome barriers and work toward a
smooth purposeful outcome for the people of God.
Bishop Hall has
faithfully served as pastor of he Greater St. Paul Church of God in
Christ for 37 years with a membership of one thousand twenty five
(1025). As a shepherd providing programs and Outreach Ministries for
members and the community, he oversees counseling, feeding the
homeless, and Evangelistical services for members training in Bible
study.
Bishop Carruth Hall
presided as Las Vegas District Superintendent and was instrumental in
implementing monthly District Fellowship meetings and District Digest
Newsletter. He was appointed in the most influential position in the
Church of God in Christ in the areas of Nevada State Chairman of the
Board of Elders and 1st Administrative Assistant. On October 28, 1993
Bishop Carruth Hall was appointed by Presiding Bishop L. H. Ford, as
Prelate of the 1st Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Nevada.
Bishop Hall is a man of
faith who demonstrates the power of God and will stand as a symbol for
righteousness and will teach the doctrine of the church. He endeavors
to bring healing for those who are left out or rejected. This man is
an invaluable asset to the Church community and will seek to embody
the Spirit of Christ. His labor of love shall prove to be eminently
worthy of all his efforts. May God ever bless the labor of his
servant.
